These Terms govern your use of palmplaysets.com (the "Site") and any services provided by PalmPlaysets ("we", "us"). By using the Site or requesting a quote, you agree to these Terms.
1. About us
PalmPlaysets is a Los Angeles–based installer of Backyard Discovery cedar playsets, pergolas, gazebos, saunas, and related outdoor structures. We are an authorized Backyard Discovery Pro Partner. We are not Backyard Discovery; we are a separate installation company.
2. Quotes and pricing
Quotes provided through this Site or by phone are estimates based on the information you give us. The final quote may change after an on-site assessment if the conditions of your yard (slope, access, surface, obstacles) materially differ from what was described.
A non-refundable deposit confirms your order and is applied to the final invoice. Final payment is due upon completion of installation and walkthrough.
3. Site preparation responsibilities
Unless explicitly included in your written quote, the following are your responsibility:
- Permits required by your city or HOA.
- Clear, level ground at the install location.
- Access for our crew and delivery vehicle.
- Removal of any existing structure.
4. Warranty
The Backyard Discovery manufacturer warranty covers the product itself; refer to the documentation included with your purchase for terms. Our installation workmanship is warranted for one (1) year from the date of the final walkthrough against defects in assembly. Normal weathering, wood checking, or damage from misuse is not covered.
5. Cancellations and returns
Because each order is placed with the manufacturer immediately after your deposit, cancellations after deposit are subject to a restocking fee passed through from the manufacturer. Please contact us as soon as possible if you need to modify or cancel an order.
6. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific installation in question. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
7. Use of the Site
The Site is provided "as is". You agree not to use the Site for unlawful purposes, attempt to interfere with its operation, or attempt to access any data not intended for you.
8. Intellectual property
Product names and product photography belong to Backyard Discovery and are used here under our authorized partner status. The PalmPlaysets name, logo, and site design are our property.
9. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California. Any dispute will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County.
